New London Architecture hosted our industry launch event at the Building Centre on 10th April 2013. It was attended by a record turn out of over 400 delegates, representing a good cross section from across the built environment sector.

Sir Terry Farrell spoke about the themes and the scope of the review and was joined by a handful of panel members to explore some of the themes in more detail. Peter Murray chaired the event; Peter Bishop (Bartlett School of Architecture) discussed the importance of political leadership, design integrity and making the ordinary better; Nigel Hugill (Urban&Civic) discussed the implications of a strong built environment sector on UK growth; Victoria Thornton highlighted the importance of outreach and engagement at all levels and to all ages.
